Job Details Agency contract - minimum 4 weeks and up to 12 weeks available $97.00 per hour AM rate Monday to Friday. $111.00 per hour for After hours Monday to Saturday and $166 per hour for Sunday overtime Uniform provided Accommodation provided at no cost to you Travel to and from the contract provided Based in the Kimberley region of Western Australia Clinic based role As the Remote Area Nurse you will be delivering primary health and emergency care to members of the region. You will be working for a well established aboriginal health service based in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. This aboriginal health service truly values their team and you are therefore really acknowledged and rewarded for this. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Remote Area Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential healthcare services to communities across the Kimberley region, working in diverse and often remote environments. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while experiencing the natural beauty and cultural richness of one of Australia’s most iconic regions. You will be working with GP's, RN's and Aboriginal Health Workers in the clinic. The Clinic offers services such as; Child and Maternal Health, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, School Health, Immunisations, Chronic Disease management, screening and prevention, Health promotion programs, 24hour accident and emergency service, Allied and Specialist health visits, Medication management. To be eligible for this position you must: Be fully registered with AHPRA with no restrictions Demonstrated ability to provide quality healthcare including emergency care with a minimum of five years post graduate experience Have a good understanding of rural and remote health issues Remote area nursing experience A current driver's licence with the capacity to drive a manual 4WD vehicle required You will be required to travel by light aircraft when required Do not miss the opportunity of a lifetime!
